Getting Involved: Becoming a Leader focuses on the importance of getting involved on SUNY Cortland campus, and how it can make one feel more integrated within the community. Being involved with other students is a great way to share your passion together and improve your psychological well-being as a whole. This presentation provides great resources for students to take the first step into getting involved on campus. As a senior at SUNY Cortland, I shared my experiences over the past four years in the presentation. Sharing my own personal experiences was a way that I was able to connect with first-year students to show them that I was once in their shoes.
