The topic I chose was studying abroad at Cortland, focusing on its positive impacts on the student community and the individual. I chose this topic because I just got back from a study abroad and after experiencing everything, I feel as though all students should have the opportunity and information to travel anywhere as it is a life-changing opportunity. Several outside resources also implore that employers look to see the effects of studying abroad to be a valuable and positive tool, as it shows you are willing to take risks, putting yourself in an environment and showing both hard work and dedication to thrive abroad.
