This poster presents a resume-building workshop created for first-year students in COR 101 at SUNY Cortland. The workshop introduced students to resume basics, including structure, formatting, action verbs, and organizing experiences. Each student received individualized feedback based on their CSI results and a personalized folder of Career Services materials. The project highlights how early resume education builds confidence, increases student engagement, and helps students recognize their strengths. Research on resume screening supports the importance of clear, personalized resumes and guided instruction for new college students.
