Getting involved on campus is one of the most important ways for students to make great connections, have good personal wellness, and succeed academically at college. The reason I wanted to teach this lesson was because when I was a freshman I was not sure how to get involved on campus and did not know all of the campus resources and that is why freshman should know all about how to get involved and all the resources on campus. This poster shows the importance of student engagement at SUNY Cortland and points out how joining clubs, organizations, and attending campus events will contribute to a good college experience. By understanding the ways of being involved on campus and looking into opportunities offered at SUNY Cortland such as student clubs, volunteer programs, and leadership work, student can take a good role in making there college experience successful.
