This collection of photographs date back to 1871 capturing the first graduating class of the Cortland Normal School. Inclusive dates range from 1871 to 1991. These photographs depict both graduating class images and commencement ceremonial images as well. Featured are images of students, faculty members, college presidents, different facilities used, commencement exercises, and Chuan-Wei Yang of Capital Normal University in China who received an honorary degree from Cortland in 1987.
