Originally established as Scholars' Day in 1997, Transformations is a day-long conference devoted to showcasing the wide array of scholarship, research and creative activities occurring on campus. A highlight of the academic year, this event focuses on student research, which is defined as an original investigation or creative activity through the primary efforts of a student or group of students.
As a new initiative, Memorial Library has begun putting submissions of student papers, presentations and posters online, through Digital Commons. Given that we are unable to have the conference in person in 2020 because of COVID-19, this collection has become the way for students to share their work with the SUNY Cortland community.
