Abstract
Nature loving and back yard exploration could easily be chalked up to the responsibility of parents (alongside respect, tolerance and sharing) while classrooms examine the lifecycle of a butterfly or the names of rainforest birds. However, the truth is that teachers and parents alike have the extraordinary opportunity to share with children just how intricate and incredible Mother Earth is ... before overwhelming them with the perils of our environmental crisis.
