Abstract
I wish I had a nickel for every environmental education activity that involves index cards. Students drown in a sea of paper. My kindergartener brings home worksheets, pictures, notes, every day. By the end of the year, the pile is as high as he is. Are you doing activities with pictures of animals cut out from magazines and laminated onto index cards? You know who you are. Forget the index cards! Use real stuff.
