My Nature Journal, written and illustrated by Adrienne Olmstead is a comprehensive guide to observing and journaling for young people, Olmstead leaves nothing out. She begins the book with an address to parents and educators encouraging them to be supportive role models, summarizes the book and its activities, and includes tips on safety and respect for the natural world.
