Abstract

This issue of Taproot launches a two-part series about music and outdoor education. It is sad, but true, that many outdoor programs include little or no music learning opportunities for participants. Music is relegated to the realm of campfire singing for the most part and hence, an important avenue to fostering environmental consciousness is lost.
