Description

Cortland State coach Jack Emmer talks to his lacrosse team during halftime of the Red Dragons' crucial encounter with 1971 champion Cornell. Behind 7-3 after two quarters, Cortland scored 2 in the third and 9 in the fourth to win, 14-8. Following the win over Cornell, Cortland moved upward in the national rankings to finish sixth at the end of the season and earned a bid to the 1972 NCAA tournament.
