Abstract
Family involvement in their child’s education is a topic not discussed enough. While many teachers and parents or guardians know the academic benefits that family involvement and family-teacher partnerships bring for a child, they do not know where to start. Teachers play a crucial role in encouraging and providing resources for families to support their child’s learning. I have selected twelve various tips and tools that will equip Kindergarten through grade 5 teachers with the knowledge and resources to partner with parents and families to encourage the success of each child in their classroom. These tips and tools have been compiled into a website that allows local teachers to easily access and implement them in their classrooms.
