President Chuan-Wei Yang of Capitol Normal University received an honorary degree from Cortland in 1987. From left to right; Everette D. Joseph '85 (serves as the President of the Student Association), James M. Clark (President of the College), Dr. Yang Chuan-Wei, and Dr. Charles O. Warren (former Provost and Vice-President. He resigned in 1987 to become the President of SUNY Plattsburgh).
